From the conviction that life is a process of continuous change, I begin to delve into my own experiences recovering memories, desires, doubts, fears, dreams … (works contained in the section “ process of investigation”). I recover the memory of my experiences to reconnect with my essence.

I work with one of the most simple and authentic forms that define our personal identity, the fingerprints, which from the moment of our conception reflect our unrepeatability and immutability; But I show them loaded with qualities inherent to the individual. Finally, I approach my interest in our vestiges as people, inside and in front of the community, with elements as close and humble as the shoes and feet; Giving the latter the dignity of walking and enduring the weight of a lifetime, opening a window to the singularity.

Velvet, satin, cotton and wood, among others, support different objects that belong to the daily life of people or objects out of context that when found reinforce the concept of essentiality, our vestige, our identity and lead us to a reflection Deep about what you see in the first instance and what you can get to see if we go a little further …

I try to involve the viewer by showing my self from the inside out. An “OJ” that opens a communication bridge with other “TUS”. Unique personal identities with stories of particular lives, who think and behave differently, take protagonism and interact together in a concrete moment, sharing, being … I raise the need to look at the world itself from a new perspective to become aware of The footprint we want to leave our lives.
